Marcus Armstrong- Director

A Director of Platinum People Solutions, Marcus has accumulated over 15 years in Executive Recruitment and Search.  He brings a commercially well-rounded, pragmatic approach from a background in tertiary studies in Accounting and Marketing and a career commencing with PWC. Marcus’s career further broadened as Australian Marketing Manager with an Australian subsidiary of a major European manufacturer.  Marcus was instrumental in sales channels management, product development and strategic business planning.

Understanding the critical importance of securing the right cultural fit to enhance business outcomes, Marcus is passionate about Recruitment and Executive Search in the following industries:  Consumer Durables & Electronics, FMCG, Construction, Emerging Technology, Health & Aged Care and Manufacturing. 

In his spare time, Marcus is a Saints supporter, always on the lookout for a challenging ski slope, family time, entertaining and general fitness.  He is also a big believer in ongoing professional development.

Danielle Coulton- Sales & Operations Director/ Senior Recruitment Consultant

Danielle has an impressive consulting career spanning the past 18 years. Throughout this time she has worked as an end to end Recruiter across a diverse range of industries including Manufacturing, Trades & Services, Heavy Industrial, Capital Equipment, Earthmoving, and Engineering.

Prior to commencing her career in Recruitment, Danielle worked within both retail and service based organizations where she started in customer service roles and progressed into Management. Danielle’s passion for working with people led her to complete a diploma in Human Resources, which ultimately led to working in Recruitment.

Danielle is a Generalist Recruiter and attributes her success to following proven recruitment practices, leaving no stone unturned and being able to clarify what both her clients and candidates require.  A combination of her sound emotional intelligence and comprehensive behavioural based interviewing techniques enables Danielle to consistently exceed both client and candidate expectations.

Recognised for her ability to partner with her clients, Danielle ensures successful outcomes are achieved by sourcing key personnel to assist in meeting their corporate vision, culture and goals. Danielle has extensive experience at assisting and mentoring her clients at identifying resources required to support their business in increasing revenue and profitability.

Throughout her career, Danielle has demonstrated her ability to communicate effectively at all levels (from the factory floor through to executive management) and as a result she has been able to assist her clients in recruiting for all facets of their business, from operations to sales to finance.

Danielle is passionate about recruitment and thrives on matching and coordinating the entire recruitment process along with monitoring and maintaining relationships long after the initial employment contract is signed.

In balancing her busy professional working life Danielle is a passionate supporter of the Bombers, maintains her general fitness and wellbeing, appreciates good wine, cooking and entertaining.
