Reporting to the State Manager – Project / Builders division, your primary responsibility is to manage existing projects and relationships whilst qualifying and securing new accounts and project opportunities within the Architectural, Specifier & Major Developer channels.  Essentially you will achieve the project sales budget and profitability for Victoria and Tasmania.

Key tasks will include;

  • Gathering project planning information (Cordell / BCI)
  • Qualify and present to new prospects & decision makers
  • Maintain trusted relationships with contractors, distributors, specifiers & plumbing trades
  • Secure orders efficiently & accurately
  • Develop new interior designer and specifier relationships
  • Complete regular structured call cycles & communication activities
  • Maintain sound & current product knowledge across all product categories
  • Monitor & report on competitor activities
  • At all times act with professionalism, friendliness and a team mentality
  • Adhoc duties as requested

To be considered for this position you must display strong and convincing communication and presentation skills, excellent computer skills (including CRM and sales reporting) and evidence of sales success within the industry.  You must display passion for high end luxury products coupled with a consultative sales style.  The ideal candidate will also possess solid experience within the Architectural and major developer markets.  Experience with Cordell's and BCI is expected.
